About us · how this happened

One dog person. One cat person. Somehow it works.

We're both selectively introverted. Put us in a room and we'll sit quietly for an hour. Then someone mentions a trip, a dog, a cat or a font crime, and good luck getting a word in.

Karishma throws words at the wall. Gayatri makes sure they don't look like they were thrown at a wall.

Karishma will rewrite one sentence for longer than she'd like to admit. Gayatri will nudge one thing slightly to the left and, annoyingly, be right.

One of us makes the mess. The other makes it look expensive.

We argue about words. About spacing. About whether something is trying too hard. And about whether Helvetica has done enough damage already. (Ongoing. Please don't bring it up.)

We also complain. A lot.

  • About copy that says absolutely nothing in 400 words.
  • About buttons that say Learn More like it's 2009.

A lot of our work starts with us asking each other simple questions:

  • Why did this make us stop scrolling?
  • Why is this so dry?
  • Would anyone actually read past the first line?

You get the version we both finally stop touching.

How a project actually goes

How this actually works.

  1. Point at the problem.

No 45-minute intake calls. Just tell us which landing page, blog post, or campaign is currently failing.

  2. We find the leak.

We figure out where your copy loses people's attention and where your layout looks like a generic $50 template.

  3. The double-team.

Karishma shapes the messaging, positioning, and search strategy. Gayatri builds the visual hierarchy so key lines actually get read. Because pretty design with bad copy is just expensive art, and great copy with bad design gets ignored.

  4. Ship, measure, refine.

You get a finished asset that pulls its weight. If user data shows a drop-off anywhere, we refine it without making a big deal out of it.
